Recreation Erholung

Recreation is the main aspect for us, to practice that sport. There are several reasons, why exactly throwing is recreative. Erholung ist für uns der wesentliche Grund, diesen Sport zu betreiben. Es sind mehrere Gründe, warum gerade Werfen erholsam ist.

As computer programmers, we are sitting in front of display and keyboard all day long. It may be an interesting task. But the poor body, it has the silliest task you can imagine: Keeping all time a boring position, nothing else. Als Computer-Programmierer sitzen wir den ganzen Tag vor Bildschirm und Tastatur. Es mag eine interressante Aufgabe sein. Aber der arme Körper, er hat die blödeste Aufgabe, die Sie sich vorstellen können: Die ganze Zeit eine langweilige Position einhalten, sonst nichts.

What a refreshing contrast do make some axe throws! When throwing, the whole body is wanted. The body develops algorithms of steering the object into the target. As a programmer, I watch this progress astonished, and have pleasure with it. Was für einen erfrischenden Kontrast machen ein paar Axtwürfe! Beim Werfen ist der ganze Körper gefordert. Er entwickelt Algorithmen, um das Objekt ins Ziel zu lenken. Als Programmierer betrachte ich erstaunt diesen Prozess, und habe Spass dabei.

So, for me the refreshment comes from the fact, that here the body has the say. The body runs the calculations, and the mind tries to follow. Not vice versa, as usual. Das erfrischende finde ich also, dass hier der Körper das Sagen hat. Der Körper führt die Rechnungen aus, und der Geist versucht, zu folgen. Nicht umgekehrt, wie gewohnt.
