The author of this pages is prefering to have simple devices, but this in quite a mass.

Sport devices for outdoor throwing on wood. Notice the apples, they are excellent for throwing far by the way.

Sport devices for indoor on cardboard.

	12 smallest Herbertz ( ... inch, ... oz)   For throwing indoor on cardboard from 1 to 5 m with 1 or 2 turns. Available from Herbertz.
	A bunch of schaschlick spits (.. inch, .. ounce) For throwing indoor on cardboard from 2 to 5 meter with 1 or 2 turns. Available at the supermarket.
	A bunch of Swiss roll needels (.. inch, .. oz)   For desktop throwing from 1/2 to 1 m with 1/2 turn. Available at the supermarket.

You don't need specialized tools for throwing. Everywhere you can find an occasions for a throw. At least if you allow small things and short distances also to be considered thrown, e.g. waste paper and apple rests.
