Scyth Sense

An unsymmetrical device with complex handling. Interrestingly, the handle of a scyth is called "throw" (in german). How suiting. What about juggling with the skyth? Ein unsymmetrisches Gerät mit komplexer Handhabung. Interessanterweise wird der Griff der Sense "Wurf genannt" (in deutsch). Wie passend. Kann man damit irgendwie jonglieren?

Of course one can juggle with a skyth, not only for fun, but also for really cutting grass. Consider the following option: Natürlich kann man mit der Sense jonglieren. Und nicht nur zum Spass, sondern richtig zum Grassmähen. Überlegen Sie folgende Möglicheit:

After the cutting stroke, the scyth normally is breaked and returned to the starting position. But there should also be a way without that break, means going on with the movement, fullfilling a cycle overhead and thus returning to the starting point form behing. To achieve this, the handle must be released and caught again. Nach der Mäh-Bewegung wird die Sense normalerweise gestoppt und zurück zum Ausgangspunkt geführt. Aber es gibt auch eine Möglichkeit ohne Stop. Die Bewegung wird weitergeführt im Kreis herum über den Kopf, um (von hinten) wieder in die Ausgangsposition zu gelangen. Dazu muss der Griff losgelassen und wieder gefangen werden.

This techinque we didn't yet test, it is in the state of theory. Next mowing season we will know more about. Diese Technik haben wir noch nicht getestet, sie existiert erst in der Theorie. Nächste Mäh-Saison werden wir mehr darüber wissen.
