A stone is a classical throwing device in impovised situations. Outdoors, any stone is mostly in reach. Most of us once threw a stone as a child, and were reminded about the danger of it.   Die meisten von uns haben als Kind einen Stein geworfen, und sind ermahnt worden wegen der Gefahr.

Interestingly, a flat rotating thrown stone can jump on water.   Interessanterweise kann ein flacher, rotierend geworfener Stein auf dem Wasser hüpfen.
